The High Yield Savings Plus account is a promotional savings account offering a fixed 3.75% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) on balances of $15,000.00 or more for the first 8 months. To qualify, a minimum of $15,000.00 in new money must be deposited, whether opening a new account or converting an existing High Yield Savings account or Private Client High Yield Savings account to the High Yield Savings Plus account. New Money is defined as funds not on deposit at Elements within the 30 days prior to opening the High Yield Savings Plus account. The promotional period begins on the account opening date or, for existing accounts, on the date the required new money deposit is met. For members to receive the promotional terms on existing High Yield Savings, you must contact Elements to convert your existing account to a High Yield Savings Plus account. Rates are accurate as of July 1, 2026. The High Yield Savings Plus account is a tiered rate account in which the dividends are calculated on the entire balance in your account based on the rate for the tier corresponding to each day’s daily balance. On the first business day following the last calendar day of the 8th month, the account and promotional APY will automatically convert to the then current non-promotional High Yield Savings tier structure or for Private Client, the non-promotional PC High Yield Savings account tier structure. APYs are variable and may change at any time without notice. Additional information for each tier: An APY of 0.10% applies to accounts with balances from $0.01 to $99.99; and from $100.00 to $2,499.99. An APY of 0.25% applies to accounts with balances from $2,500.00 to $9,999.99. An APY of 2.00% applies to accounts with balances from $10,000.00 to $14,999.99. An APY of 3.75% applies to accounts with balances from $15,000.00 and above. At least one account holder must be 18 years of age. Other qualifications may apply. Offer subject to membership approval. What are my funding options for the High Yield Savings Plus account?

There are several convenient ways to fund your account.

  • At account opening, you can fund up to $100,000 directly through the application process.
  • Wire Transfer — For larger deposits, a wire transfer is recommended. Use Elements Routing Number 274073834. No incoming wire fees apply.
  • Check deposits can be made at any Elements branch or at one of 5,600+ shared branches nationwide, searchable here.
  • Mobile check deposits can be made up to a daily limit of $15,000.6
  • Transfers from another financial institution can be made with Elements online banking or mobile app – limits apply as shown:
    • New Members $1,000 per transaction / $2,000 per day / $10,000 per month
    • Existing Members (after 30 days of membership) $5,000 per transaction / $10,000 per day / $50,000 per month

What fees can I expect?

There is no Monthly Maintenance Service Charge on your High Yield Savings Plus account. There's no fee for keeping money in the account or for withdrawing it as needed. Every dollar you earn in dividends is yours to keep. As always, fees may reduce earnings — see our full fee schedule for details.

For members 25 and older, there is a $5 per month Inactivity Fee assessed if your checking and savings accounts have had no activity for at least 12 months; you have no other active deposit, loan, or credit card product with Elements; and deposit balances total $1,000 or less. It is collected from the first checking or savings account with sufficient funds to cover the fee, starting with checking and then moving to savings until the full fee is collected.

Is Elements Online Banking easy to use?

Yes! Elements Online Banking lets you check your balance, transfer funds, make loan payments, pay bills, and more — all from your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Enrolling is simple and free for all Elements members.

When will I have the ability to view my High Yield Savings Plus account online?

If you already have online banking or the mobile app with Elements, you can expect the account to appear there within 15 minutes of account approval. If you do not currently have online banking or the mobile app with us, you can enroll for online access once you receive your Member Number via your welcome email.

Once your balance reaches $15,000 in funds not already on deposit with Elements, you will begin earning the 3.75% APY.
