In September 2026, Elements Financial is upgrading its online banking to integrate account features, enhance security controls, and consolidate money movement tools into a fresh Digital Banking experience.

This page outlines operational changes and requirements during the transition, including temporary view-only periods for systems, first-time login verification steps, and feature modifications.

Review the FAQ below for specific information regarding accounts, transfers, statements, and third-party software integrations.

System Availability & Timeline

Will Online Banking be unavailable at any time during the upgrade

During the September upgrade, Online and Mobile Banking will enter a temporary view-only period. During this timeframe, you can view your balances, review account information, and check your transaction history, but you will not be able to move money or make account changes until full access is restored.

What does “view-only” mean?

View-only status means your account information remains visible, but all interactive capabilities are temporarily disabled. You will not be able to execute transfers, make payments, deposit checks, or modify your account settings. Full system functionality will return automatically once the upgrade process concludes.

Login, Security, & Access

Will my login credentials change?

If you're already an Elements online banking user, you'll continue to use your existing login ID and password on your first login. When you first sign in after the upgrade, you'll complete a one-time verification step. You can continue to use the same password as long as it meets password requirements.

Mobile app users will need to update their app before logging in. You'll be prompted to do this automatically if you haven't already.

What verification will I need when I first log in to the upgraded Digital Banking?

The first time you access the upgraded system, you must complete a mandatory, one-time identity verification step to secure your account.

Account Organization & Statements

Where are my statements and tax documents?

After the upgrade, all of your documents will be consolidated into a single, centralized Statements hub. This location contains your account statements, credit card statements, mortgage statements, loan bills, tax forms, and eNotices for easier access.

Will I still be able to organize my accounts?

After the upgrade, your accounts will now be automatically grouped into two distinct categories: Deposit Accounts and Loan Accounts. While you can organize individual items within each group, accounts will not be able to be freely mixed across categories.

Transfers, Payments, & Deposits

Where do I go to make transfers or payments?

After the upgrade, all money movement features will be streamlined into a single, unified transactional form. You will use this consolidated interface to complete account transfers, loan payments, credit card payments, and mortgage payments.

Do I need to recreate scheduled transfers?

Your existing scheduled transfers will successfully migrate to the new platform, but they will be locked and cannot be edited. If you need to modify a pre-existing transfer, you must delete the migrated transfer entirely and set up a new one from scratch.

Features & Budgeting Tools

What happened to Card Control?

After the upgrade, the separate Card Control application will be retired, and its features are now fully integrated into the main Digital Banking experience on both desktop and mobile. You can now toggle cards on or off, report lost or stolen cards, order replacements, and manage your PIN directly within the primary platform.

Can I delete the old Card Control app?

Yes, once the upgraded Digital Banking system officially launches, the standalone Card Control app will no longer function and can be safely deleted from your device.

What budgeting data will transfer?

Your historical budgeting data and custom settings will not transfer during the upgrade. While budgeting utilities remain available, you will need to re-establish your budgets within the new platform.

What new features are being added?

The upgrade introduces several new features, including a Savings Goals tool to track financial targets, a Manage Users option to grant account access to trusted individuals without sharing credentials, and custom account reports, among others.

Additionally, you will be able to open accounts directly inside digital banking.

Features Being Retired

What features are no longer available?

As part of this system modernization, three specific features are being permanently retired: Desktop Remote Deposit Capture for non-business members, CardSwap, and ClickSwitch.

Third-Party Integrations & Support

I use Quicken and QuickBooks with Elements online banking. Will I still have the ability to do this?

Yes, connectivity with Quicken and QuickBooks will continue after the upgrade, but there will be an expected migration delay. You may experience an access disruption lasting a few days immediately following the launch until system linkages with Intuit are fully re-established.
