New Digital Banking Arrives September 9

One Platform. Better Control.

Plan Ahead: September 8–9 — Online and mobile banking move to view-only for a short window as we finish our Digital Banking upgrade. Learn More

We're excited to share that our new Digital Banking experience officially launches on September 9. This upgrade brings all your Online Banking and Mobile App features into a single centralized hub.

Your username, password, accounts, balances, and transaction history will carry over automatically. You’ll just complete a quick, one-time verification the first time you log in after the upgrade.

In the meantime, please confirm your contact information is up to date in Online Banking. You can update it under the Settings tab, or contact us for help.

Why We're Making This Upgrade

  • A more consistent experience across all your devices
  • Improved tools to better manage your money
  • Stronger security controls and fraud protection

What Stays the Same (Just a Few Quick Steps for Some)

  • Your Accounts, Balances, and Transaction History
  • Your Current Username and Password — You'll complete a simple one-time verification the first time you log in.
  • Mobile Check Deposits
  • Quicken and QuickBooks Access — Note: If you connect Quicken, QuickBooks Desktop, or QuickBooks Online to your Elements accounts, you'll need to do a few quick steps before and after launch to keep that connection working. Visit our Quicken & QuickBooks Conversion page for instructions.
  • Budget Tracking Apps — If you use Rocket Money, YNAB, Monarch Money, or similar apps that link to your accounts, you'll need to re-authenticate them after the upgrade.

Features Being Retired

The following features will no longer be available after the upgrade. Where possible, an improved alternative is available within Digital Banking.

  • Desktop Remote Deposit Capture (retail members) — Mobile deposit remains available through the mobile app. — Learn More
  • CardSwap — If you are already a CardSwap user, after the upgrade, you will need to update your card on file directly with merchants and services.
  • ClickSwitch — If you are a ClickSwitch user, after the upgrade, contact our Member Services team for help updating direct deposits and recurring payments.
  • The separate Card Control by Elements app — Card controls will now be built into Digital Banking. After the upgrade, you will be able to delete your separate Card Control app to avoid receiving duplicate alerts. — Learn More

Details about the Card Control App Being Retired

As part of our upcoming Digital Banking upgrade launching in September we want to give you a heads-up about a change to your Business User Management setup.

What's Changing

Right now, you use the separate Card Control by Elements app to turn your cards on or off, set alerts, and manage other card settings. After the upgrade is complete, the Card Control app will be retired. All of its features — plus new ones — will be built directly into Elements Digital Banking, on both desktop and the mobile app.

What This Means for You

You won't need a separate app to manage your cards anymore. Everything will live in one place. However, registered users and settings from the Card Control app will not carry over — you'll need to re-register your cards and recreate any alerts or controls after the upgrade.

Important: Action Required after the Upgrade

After the upgrade is complete, to continue managing your cards as you have with the Card Control app, you'll need to follow a few steps for each card.

  • Log in to Elements Digital Banking after the upgrade (a one-time identity verification will be required on first login)
  • Click on the card tile for the card you wish to set controls on and select Card Management
  • Re-register your cards and set up the controls and alerts you want. A Control blocks transactions based on your selections. An Alert allows the transactions but sends you an immediate alert.

You can choose from these features:
    • instant on/off controls,
    • activity controls and alerts by location,
    • merchant type, transaction type, and spending limit,
    • lost/stolen card reporting,
    • PIN management, and
    • travel notices

A Couple of Things to Keep in Mind

  • Delete the Card Control app from your device after the upgrade to avoid receiving duplicate alert notifications

  • Card Management will be available on desktop as well as mobile, with new features like lost card reporting and PIN management built right into Digital Banking

Confirm Your Scheduled Transfers

Scheduled transfers will carry over and remain available after the upgrade. After the upgrade goes live, please log in to Digital Banking and confirm your scheduled transfers look correct — especially the dates and amounts. You can edit the start date or amount, but you'll need to cancel and recreate a transfer to change its frequency.

  • To update a start date or amount — you can edit these directly within your transfer details.
  • To change the frequency — cancel the existing transfer and set up a new one with your preferred schedule.
  • If a transfer has already been processed incorrectly — contact our Member Services team, and we'll help make it right.

Confirm your QuickBooks or Quicken Connections

Your Quicken or QuickBooks connection will not carry over automatically with the upgrade. Before the upgrade goes live, back up your data file and complete a final transaction download. Once the upgrade goes live, you'll need to disconnect the old connection and reconnect it to your existing accounts — skipping this step can create duplicate accounts and a messy transaction history.

  • Before September 8 — back up your file and run a final transaction update so your history through the switch is locked in.

  • On or after September 9 — disconnect the old connection, then reconnect and link it to your existing account (not a new one).

  • Using Express Web Connect? — this connection type won't be available again until on or around September 16 (about 5 business days after go-live).

  • If you end up with a duplicate account or missing transactions — contact our Member Services team, and we'll help make it right.
